Shannon Sailing
Website Shannon Sailing is a privately owned company on Lough Derg, Ireland’s
foremost freshwater inland boating and sailing lake. The secure and well
sheltered harbour facilities are in the village of Dromineer near Nenagh. They provide an 80 berth fully serviced Marina with
boat and car park, swinging moorings, slipway, diesel and pump-out
facilities. They also hire day-sailing boats and lake fishing boats, and
charter yachts at very competitive rates.
Lough Derg Yacht Club
Website Lough Derg Yacht Club, founded in 1835, is situated in Dromineer, close
to Nenagh.. New members are always welcome.
Day membership is available to visitors to the club and adult sailing
classes are available for non-members. The club offers great sailing and
cruising for all types of boats. Dinghy classes sailed include Optimist,
Mirrors, Lasers, 420's and the Shannon One Design.

provide the perfect setting for this superb championship course, which
offers spectacular views over the wonderful Tipperary countryside stretching
from the Silvermines and Arra mountains across to Lough Derg.

The Spirit of Killaloe
Website The Spirit of Killaloe is a luxury 50 seater passenger boat. On board is a
choice of two decks, the upper deck is ideally suited to taking the sun and
enjoying the spectacular scenery. The lower deck which has central heating
and a stereo system can seat up to 50 people with full bar facilities, tea,
coffee and snack refreshments on board.
